Introduction
This digital accessibility statement applies to the website of SRH YourService GmbH, published at www.srh-campus-apartments.de.
SRH YourService GmbH strives to design its website in accordance with EU Directive 2019/882 (the "European Accessibility Act") and in compliance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG).
General Description of the Service
SRH YourService GmbH is a service company specializing in tailored solutions in the areas of catering & food service, cleaning & service, and building & facility management. The website offers detailed information about the range of services provided by its business divisions.
SRH YourService GmbH offers rental agreements for student apartments and staff housing, as well as parking contracts on the campus in Heidelberg.
Implementation of Accessibility Requirements
In designing the concept, web design, and usability of its website, SRH YourService GmbH has taken care to make its online presence accessible, or at least largely accessible.
The accessibility requirements arise from § 3 BFSG in conjunction with the Ordinance on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSGV), issued on the basis of § 3 (2) BFSG. The BFSGV sets out the requirements for services in business transactions in §§ 12, 13, and 19. The technical requirements are determined by EN 301 549.
These requirements have been implemented in particular as follows:
- Adapted, simple usability and easier, user-friendly navigation
- Increased visibility of contact and service information through color contrasts in text, links, and buttons, contact buttons, and directions
- Use of color-highlighted hyperlinks and larger font sizes in category headings and service listings
- Clear identifiability of hyperlinks
- Usability without a keyboard
The website already offers good accessibility for all users in numerous areas. However, it does not yet fully comply with the requirements of the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV). As part of a planned technical revision, the relevant requirements are to be implemented step by step.
